Themed Issue Call for Papers

Justin Barone from Virginia Tech, USA, and Scott Renneckar (our Chair-Elect) from The University of British Columbia, Canada, are organising a themed issue in the periodical Green Materials on ‘Stimuli-responsive green materials’.

Specific topics in this themed issue include:

  • Nanocellulose containing stimuli-responsive materials
  • Responsive hydrogels
  • Ionic materials
  • Functional composites
  • Newer, greener processes to create stimuli-responsive materials

It is hoped that this themed issue will create new opportunities and open a dialogue on the emerging field of stimuli-responsive and green materials. For more information on the themed issue, please contact the champions at jbarone@vt.edu (Justin Barone) or scott.renneckar@ubc.ca (Scott Renneckar).
