Gordon Selling and World Nieh, both from USDA, have been named ACS CELL Division Fellow in 2022. This Fellowship recognizes the dedication, leadership, and enthusiastic service of Noureddine that has kept the CELL Division moving forward.
Gordon has held many positions within the CELL division from Awards Co-Chair to Division Chair. His contributions have included increasing the number of submissions for many CELL awards, planning for the division’s 100th birthday, an event that needed to be postponed due to the pandemic, yet he remains committed to executing events currently on-hold. World is a long-time member of CELL who held two very important roles within CELL – Awards Chair and Treasurer. In both roles he made important and long-lasting contributions that have been very beneficial to the division.
